Because I have yet to fall in love with my best friend, you’re my one and only.
Because we have 3 beautiful years of friendship, and trust
Because you fall in love with me, for me, and you bring out the best in me.
Because you make fun of me and tease me, and I’m your biggest challenge.
Because you find it hard to make a comeback :-p
Because I find it hard to be angry with you.
Because you'll laugh at me.with me. all the time
Because you sing to me even though I begged you not to.
Because you know me so well, you tickles my heart and blew me away
Because you’re so generous, to my family and friends
Because you make everyone around you so comfortable
Because you have the biggest heart, sincere and honest
Because I have never loved anyone the way I love you
Because you make me smile, laugh and cry – for all the good reasons
Because we can talk about anything and laugh about silly things
Because you think you're Leon Lai and Keannu Reeves got his acting talent from you
Because you put up with my sarcasm and crappy mood
Because you don’t stop me from shopping and you actually ended up buying me things
Because you took up salsa for me, and gave up taichi.
Because you accompany me to salsa clubs even tho you’re bored.
Becasue you survived Salsa for one year.
Because you bring me wine, chocolates and roses.
Because you wrote your first blog post. And it's for me.
Because you think I’m the one, so are you to me.
I love you because you’re you and you’re what I’ve waited for my whole life.
And most importantly, you were smart enough to fall in love with me :-)

A Royal Celebration: Hun Dearie’s Birthday
Hun’s birthday is on 16 Mar. And 16 Mar 2009 is her first birthday since we started this beautiful journey of love.
And I wanted it to be as memorable as possible. I wanted to make it a surprise. I wanted it to be fabulous. I wanted it to be romantic. I wanted her feel like she’s in heaven. All in all, I just wanted it to be perfect… for she deserves nothing less.
Initially, I really didn’t know how I was gonna pull it off… the surprise part was my biggest challenge. I’m really bad at lying and I really don’t know how to plan a birthday party or birthday getaway for her, without her finding out about it beforehand. The task was not any easier with Hunnie’s sharp instinct, and ability to sniff out any secret plans of mine.
So I decided to come clean (well, almost…) and told her that I’m taking her somewhere nice on her birthday’s eve and she’ll have to pack clothes for a night. So, she knew then. I didn’t have to lie or pretend after that, I only have to refuse to tell her where we are going! Muahahahaha!!
Over the course of the next two weeks, Hunnie, with her curious nature, kept asking me asking me about where I was taking her. She asked me when we are out together, she asked me when we are talking over the phone, she smses me… she wouldn’t give up. But so was I. Heehee… I was determined to keep my mouth shut for as long as I can. And on many occasions, I almost fell for her innocent ‘strategic’ guided-questions… answers to which can build up clues to where I was taking her. Very smart baby… and I have to confess that I did fell for a few of the questions. Fortunately, I still managed to keep her guessing afterwards. :P
Apart from her curiosity, there was also another reason why Hunnie kept asking me, a reason that I only got to know on Hunnie’s birthday’s eve. The place that I was taking her to was also the place that she had in mind to take me to on my birthday (two weeks later). She was afraid to book it as her sixth sense somehow told her that I might be taking her to this same place too!!! It was place that we had never mentioned to each other before… but somehow we zoomed-in on the same location. (Felt like we are so meant for each other, sweetheart).
Then came her birthday pressie. I had to plan in advance. I wanted something that’s meaningful… something that would reflect the beauty of this wondrous relationship that we are having, and for the time to come. I asked around for ideas, searched the internet, flipped some books and magazines, but most of them just doesn’t feel right. After some thinking… and finally I decided to have a picture of us hand-drawn.
I had it sketched out with strict instructions and once the drawing was finished, handed it in for framing. I chose to have the drawing be extended with double layer of borders, allowing me space to inscribe a personal message for baby, a message from my heart. I had it wrapped and kept at my home until the day of our getaway.
During the run up to Hunnie’s birthday, I was also hit by what I would term as an “impulse action” – for it was unplanned and I just followed my feelings at that time. But there is no regret. I remembered Hunnie’s love of bags and one of them were the ones from award-winning designer Anya Hindmarch of London. At that very moment, I decided to get her one. For I know she would love it, and that was all that matter. Went out that very night after work and purchased it.
Hunnie was blessed with many good friends and close colleagues. Thus, it was no surprise that many of them also decided to celebrate her birthday for her. Since, I had already booked the dates for her birthday’s eve and birthday, with some coordination, we have her colleagues celebrated her birthday on 13 Mar at Brussels, Jaya One.
Our celebration then continued with her friends on 14 Mar with dinner at Tamarind Hills and a night out party at Quattro.

Then come Mar 15. Woke up early, packed and went to fetch Hunnie. On our way to the destination, Hunnie still haven’t given up and kept asking me where I was taking her. Nor was she willing to wait until we reached the destination. I again fell for some of her innocent ‘strategic’ guided-question. As she got more clues and as we move closer to the destination, she started laughing and laughing and laughing. By then, I knew she already knows where I was taking her. So smart!! And part of the reason that she laughed so much was also her sixth sense was accurate (deciding not to book) and that we both had in mind the same place that we wanna bring each other to on our birthdays! Talk about destiny…
I took Hunnie this beautiful place in Port Dickson, Avillion.

Unfortunately, the hotel booking system was down and check-in was a pain and it has to be done manually. We finally got our room after close to 2 hours of waiting. However, it was worth the wait, the moment we saw the room and its beautiful surroundings.
I then took Hunnie to the heavenly Avispa, under the pretext to checking out the place. Little does she know that I had booked a 3 and a half hours aVi Signature wellness spa session for her… I’m glad she loved it.
After the spa, we chilled out at the Spa-guests-only lounge, located just above the Avispa building, watching sunset. It was an unforgettable experience.
Dinner was at the hotel’s Crow’s Nest.
The next day, after a sumptuous breakfast, we just chilled, relaxed and took our to time to enjoy the surrounding areas of the hotel and it’s waterfront.
It was an unforgettable experience for me… being able to spend time with my dearest and celebrating her birthday in such a lovely charming place. But more importantly, the entire birthday experience is for my Hunnie.
Hun sweetheart, hoped you truly had a memorable one.

Our Perfect Saturday Nite Out
May 16th, 2009
Another perfect night out with my hunnie.Had dinner at Summer, Quattro. Food was alright, reasonably priced. I had the Penne Arrabiata and Hun had nasi dagang. After that we went to KLPac for Men In Tutus! What a great show!! I had sooo much laughter and totally amazed with them dancing on their toes! And the night ended with some desserts and jazz in Delicious, Dua Regency.
This Penne is good..spicy too!
Looks good, smells good, and it's really good - according to AgentK
One Year Anniversary @ Tamarind Spring
14th May 09
Hunnnie booked ourselves dinner for two at Tamarind Spring celebrate our first year anniversary. We heard alot of this place from friends. The last we went to was the sister restaurant - Tamarind Hill. Similar concept.
Well, surprised, I couldn't believe there was such a wild-jungle restaurant in KL! There are actually three restaurants on this location. Tamarind Springs, which serves Indochinese food, Il Tempio (an Italian restaurant) and Mandi-Mandi, a little relaxed area by the pool which serves a variety of dishes from Malay and Thai cuisine.

The setting makes this a must try place
This couch isnt very comfortable. The bar area
Ooh yea, i was kinda annoyed with their policy of "no photo taking if there isnt any human being in the photo". Well bascially they didnt allow me to take pictures of the restaurant area unless we are in the picture. Seriously, I dont get the point. What's so great about the decor, why not just copyright the whole place if they are so afraid of people copying them. And to that that indian waiter that told me that, I really dont like your tone and manner.

My Eyes Hurt
I didn't do shits today. Spending my time watching dvds. And posting some entries into this blog. Didn't know that doing nothing can be so tiring. Or was it just Monday blues syndrome? Yea, I guess so, on a Sunday. Happens all the time. I foresee a busy busy week *as usual, what's new* Let's hope for a good week and may Friday comes in a blink!
Men In Tutus
Yay!! We went for this last nite!! I absolutely think that they are brilliant and funny! Thanks baby for bringing me to this wonderful show!!
*I'll upload some pictures later*
“Artistically brilliant, absolutely hilarious” New York Post
“Made us laugh until the tears flowed” London Daily Telegraph
“Brilliant dancers, beautiful choreography, stunning costumes & sets” New York Observer
Direct from a sell-out tour of Europe and Asia, comes the most spectacular, talented and hilarious all male comedy ballet ever. Hailed by critics as “The greatest exponents of all male comedy ballet in the world today”, international company Les Ballets Grandiva is set to arrive in Malaysia in May 2009.
The largest company of its kind in the world, Grandiva boasts over fifty ballets in its repertoire and twenty of the best international male ballet dancers from thirteen countries whose soloists have performed with Russia's Bolshoi and Kirov Ballets, New York Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, The American Ballet Theatre, the prestigious Royal Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, The Royal Swedish Ballet, Berlin State Opera Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet to name a few.Grandiva's "Men In Tutus" is the ultimate send up of both classical and contemporary ballet. The combination of brilliant dancing technique, tongue in cheek and blatant humour with intentional foibles, dancing mishaps and of course hissy fits by men playing both male and female roles (some of the men do actually look like gorgeous women, while others are hairy chested men with pancake makeup but all in tutus and dancing en pointe.)
