One of our perfect date. Dinner and theater. We went to Euro Deli in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng followed by Mahsuri. I have always been interested in the legend of Mahsuri where I learnt about it from textbooks and story books. Ironic enough, we just got back from Langkawi 2 weeks ago, so when I heard about the theater, I quickly told Agent K. He being a sweetheart, bought me those tickects.
Review from TimeOut Mag, says it all. Swiss-German. Tucked behind the traffic that runs down Jalan Yap Kwan Seng is a surprisingly large and even more pleasantly unexpected good quality German-style grill. Sausages, bacon, ham, pork chops and the house speciality, pork knuckles, are all excellent, and served with sauerkraut, vegetables and other suitable trimmings.
The musical theater was staged on Istana Budaya on 24th Apr to 30th May. If you havent heard about Mahsuri, musical production which will be staged at Istana Budaya from April 24 to 30.Mahsuri the legend revolves around a local beauty on the island of Langkawi who was married to a warrior. She was accused of adultery and was sentenced to death. With her last breath, the innocent wife and mother cursed the people of Langkawi with seven generations of bad luck.
It was a good show. We came out of the hall after the 90-minute play feeling elated.
